Add Some Hocus Pocus to Your Halloween This Year

One of my favorite holidays is right around the corner! Ten days away to be exact, but who's counting. Whether you're as festive as I am when it comes to Halloween; carving pumpkins, baking Halloween treats, dressing up, trick-or-treating and the whole shibang, or just nonchalant about the month of October. (Shame on you!) San Antonio has a variety of Halloween themed events that are sure to offer a fun time for everyone.

So take out your planner, or iPhone calender, and make sure to save the date on these events! You won't want to miss out!

5k run/walk for a cause on Halloween!
Saturday Oct. 31
9:00 a.m.

This is one of my favorite events since it benefits the Animal Defense League of Texas, a non-profit animal shelter. This 5k walk/run will be Halloween themed and you will receive a trick or treat goody bag for participating...yum. You can bring your furry friend too. Register now!

Riverwalk Halloween Fest
Saturday Oct. 31

The festival lands on Halloween day and starts at 7:00 p.m. You won't want to miss this one! There will be a spooky parade on the San Antonio Riverwalk and tons of other festivities.

Sounds like fun? It will be! But of course, if you can't make these events there's nothing wrong with a Halloween movie night in (those are the best) or quality time with friends and family say, baking and decorating Halloween cupcakes.
